School starts back on August 16, which means high school sports are also about to kick off. With the return to school, there are a lot of questions and uncertainty around COVID-19 and the vaccine for coaches, players and parents.
Who better to help answer your questions than Dr. Ramon Ylanan, M.D., Team Physician for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks and Assistant Professor of Family and Preventative Medicine and Orthopaedics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. UAMS will host a Facebook Live event for coaches, parents and students in Northwest Arkansas to give a medical perspective on the COVID-19 virus and vaccine in relation to our student athletes.
