Bentonville 12 Har-ber 1

The Bentonville Tiger Softball team moved their record to 19-1 (10-0) with a conference win over Springdale Har-ber Thursday night.

Cailey Cochran picked up the win on the night throwing 4 innings allowing 1 unearned run. Maddy prough started the game and went 2 innings allowing 0 runs.

Bentonville picked up 11 hits on the night including a 3 hit night from Megan Crownover. Payton Wildeman picked up 4 RBI, Haley Cornell picked up 3 RBI and Megan Crownover picked up 2 RBI.

Bentonville scored 6 runs picked up via the long ball. Megan Crownover and Payton Wildamen hit long homeruns deep into the Botanical Gardens behind left field. Haley Cornell gave one lucky dog a new souvenir as she hit a moon rocket that floated into the park behind center.

Bentonville will be in action today at Benton where they will play Sheridan in the opening round of the Benton Classic at 6:30.
