Bentonville Tiger Softball's late runs seal 10-3 win over Conway (AR)

Bentonville Tiger Softball scored three runs in the eighth to cap a 10-3 win over Conway on Saturday.

Bentonville Tiger Softball scored in the eighth on and a two-run double by Jenna Wildeman.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to five lead changes in the game.

Bentonville Tiger Softball pulled out the win thanks to a strong sixth inning. A groundout by Alyssa (AJ) Downey scored Megan Crownover and gave Bentonville Tiger Softball the lead for good.



Wildeman racked up two RBIs on three hits for Bentonville Tiger Softball.


Morgan Nelson recorded the win for Bentonville Tiger Softball. She pitched 2 1/3 shutout innings. She struck out one, walked two and surrendered two hits.

St.John was charged with the loss. She allowed nine runs in nine innings, walked three and struck out two.

Bentonville Tiger Softball tallied two runs in each of the second, sixth and ninth. In the second, Bentonville Tiger Softball scored on a passed ball, scoring Crownover.
