Bentonville 19 Northside 0

The Bentonville Tigers Softball team routed Fort Smith Northside Tuesday night to move their record to 18-1 (9-0) as they started the second half of conference play. Bentonville came ready to play when Madison Prough struck out the first three hitters on her way to pitching a perfect game and striking out all 9 batters she faced.

The Tigers gave Prough all the run support she would need scoring 19 runs in just two innings. Each player in Bentonvills lineup collected at least one hit and one RBI while totaling 19 total hits in the contest. Megan Crownover, Payton Wildamen and Jordan Gartman collected 3 hits apiece while Shayli Martin and C.J Gonzalez had 2 hits apiece.

The Tigers will continue conference play when they travel to Springdale Har-ber on Thursday night. Varsity action will start at 5:00.
