October 2015

This past month, the entire Tiger Basketball family took time out of our practice schedules to do something out of the ordinary, help others in the community, and have a great time serving. Both the boys and girls Bentonville Basketball teams took part in a meal packing event for the hungry of Northwest Arkansas put on by an amazing organization known as the Pack Shack. For about an hour, 54 Tiger atheletes, managers, and coaches worked bagging, packing, and stacking over 16,000 meals for the hungry of NWA in an event that included some awesome hair and beard nets, dance breaks, and a gong. It was a great time for our players to do something to support a community that has nothing but support for them during the season.
A special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Roberts
for their support of this event. For more

Practice At Barker
What’s it like to be a Tiger? What’s it like to practice like a Tiger? Many students growing up in Bentonville schools have these questions running through their minds. On Thursday, Sept. 24 the Boys Basketball Team tried to answer those questions for a few interested elementary students. On that day the Tigers moved their typical practice location from a back gym at BHS to Barker Elementary
School. Students had the opportunity
to stay after school and see a real practice
for the first time and get autographs afterwards from some of the players. It was
a great time for everyone involved and
hopefully it inspired some upcoming
athletes to work hard for the future. Special
thanks to Principal Eric Hipp for making
this practice possible.

The 2015-16 Schedule Is On Its Way!
With only a couple of question marks remaining, we do know that it will be the most competitive national schedule Bentonville has ever played.
With: 1) games in venues from California to Massachusetts, 2)multiple teams ranked in the nation’s Top 25, 3) and against multiple players in ESPN’s Top 10, the Tigers are looking to make Bentonville proud inside the state as well as outside. Thank you for your patience, and as soon as it is ready we will be sure to get it out to you so you can start marking down dates on your calendar to be a part of this historic season.
